Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 (KJV).

REFLECT:
We all know how important it is to get or receive direction, especially when it is most needed. With recent trends in city development, town planning, and mapping finding one’s way around a city or town is not as chaotic or tedious as it was decades ago.

With such developments, we have seen the emergence of more than one route leading to a particular destination. As a result of this kind of development most people now think this type of strategy could be applied to every situation.

However, it is a known fact that there are highly sensitive places deemed high-security spots that can only be accessed from one major route or entrance. These places are highly important facilities that may not be easily replicated, and so have to be guarded by every means possible.

They are places that may hold high, or top government personalities, such as a ruling monarch. We also have places that hold government intelligence matters, truths, secrets, etc. Therefore, for such reasons, it would be too risky to have several routes or entrances leading to such places.

The situations mentioned above can also apply to spiritual matters. There is only one Heaven, that houses the throne of God. It is from Heaven we are told God rules over His entire creation. It is in Heaven where God has made it possible for His righteous saints after they depart from this world are rewarded to dwell with God for eternity.

Also for those of us who are alive who have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior when we approach God’s throne of Grace or courts we do that spiritually from the place of His abode in Heaven.

For these reasons, it is highly important to have only one way leading to Heaven where our Heavenly Father resides in Glory and majesty.

The souls of men are highly important to God, and cannot be allowed to be confused. Our God is not a God of confusion who will have men wondering about the state of their soul’s salvation and final abode or resting place.

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” 1 Corinthians 14: 33 (KJV).

So, Heaven as the highest of God’s intelligence, truths, and secrets, reserved for the well-being of His children has to be accessed
accurately in one way or route.

This route is clearly stated in our Bible verse for today —-

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 (KJV).

Therefore, Jesus is the only appointed way to God. If we must approach God, we must do it through Jesus. He alone can lead us into the truths, strategic secrets, and intelligence of God our Father in Heaven.

Let us, therefore, now examine ourselves to make sure that we are using that one appointed way prescribed by Father God which was established from the foundation of the world. We must never allow ourselves to be confused, chasing shadows, and in the end, find that we have made a grievous mistake. Let us decide to come to Jesus the one Appointed way to access God and His Heavenly Kingdom.

Finding the way to Heaven must only be done through Jesus. When we enter into the realm of discovering who Jesus is, He brings us into the realm of who the Father is, and the Glory and majesty of His Heavenly abode.

Dear LORD JESUS, thank You for creating a way for me to know the Creator of the universe by becoming the way for me to know the Creator of the universe. Because I can know You, I can know the truth. Because I can know You, I can have eternal life. Show me how to intentionally pursue You today— because You alone are the way, the truth, and the life. AMEN.
