REFLECT:

One question we do not ask ourselves is, how further do I want to go in life? Most times we might use the word ‘far’ when we talk about the extent we want to go or achieve a given purpose, but further is rarely or not at all used in such contexts.

However, further is something considered when we intend to go a greater length or extent than just going far. It does not matter how fast we do that to achieve our goal, but it is a process that is measured by the determination of purpose.

The Bible is full of amazing and awesome tips and lessons to help us succeed in every area of our lives, and today’s Bible verse is one of such. This verse schools us on a very important issue on how to be successful and excellent achievers in all that GOD has called us to be in life.

The main lesson here is that when walking this road of life’s destiny we should not walk it alone. GOD is so good, that HE has put people in our lives with similar and like-minded purposes for us to walk together with to achieve all GOD has called us to be. GOD who is the creator of the entire universe demonstrates this attribute in Genesis 1:26, HE said – ‘Let us make man in our own image.’ ‘US,’ meaning there is more than one entity or personality here in the discussion who may be influential in making the decision, and who have been pulled together to put their intentions in motion for a common goal or purpose.

We see all through the Bible GOD’S intentions for community and communal living, where we can help each other to achieve GOD’S pre-destined purposes and destinies for all our lives, such that will bring Glory to HIM.

So, today let us make it a priority to seek the LORD and to ask HIM to join us with the people HE has ordained for us to work together with, people who carry the same vision and purposes that HE has called us to accomplish for Kingdom purposes on the earth.

As CHRIST’s followers, it is very important that we are aware of what each of our destinies and purposes is in GOD and what they entail. Then through HOLY SPIRIT’S strategic wisdom and insight, we can forge and built a community of like-minded people to bring into fruition all of GOD’S intended purposes that HE has destined for our lives.

FATHER GOD, thank You for creating us to desire companionship and community. Relationships are so special, and I thank You for being the ultimate companion. Please bring me together with those who you have called me to work with to accomplish what heaven has destined for us for Kingdom purposes on the earth. Help me to be a good steward of the relationships I have and the ones you are bringing me into, and also help me to be a good friend. In JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN!
