REFLECT:
When we say something is forever, what is assumed is that, that thing, person, or situation does not have an end. It is endless, the life span is eternal.

Of course in the world in which we live, this whole aspect of ‘forever’ is seen as impossible, right? Nothing can stay permanently forever. Unless we want to consider all of those Fairy-tale stories written out there. Oh yes, such stories are considered fictitious, imaginary, and at best just to entertain the reader.

Fairy tales may be fictitious, but not the story of the Risen King–JESUS. Our Bible verse for today clearly states this fact. We are told in this Bible verse that He is no longer in the grave. Also, Hebrews 13:8 gives us a similar picture, agreeing that Jesus is risen forever and telling us that “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” (KJV)This means that this fact overrides the temporary laws of the earth, and this is the eternal law of Heaven.

Sadly though, the purpose for which the enemy, over the years, has attempted to use Fairy tales was to confuse and disorient the minds and focus of people, especially the children from the reality of Jesus, the Love and the Power of God. Unfortunately, in most respects, the enemy has almost succeeded in achieving its purpose.

Generations over the centuries have grown up to equate the story of Jesus–the reality of His Power and the efficacy of His resurrection and Divinity–as being in the same category as the Fairy tales we read.

The resultant effect of this indoctrination can be seen all around us. We now see people who have been raised with weakened or no faith in God at all; there is hardly any reverence for God. We have people who walk around with confused minds, hard hearts, a warped mentality, and no sense of direction.

This epidemic is, therefore, what we as Christians must work to eradicate. There must be a reorientation of mindsets. A redirection of purpose back to what God intended and for which Jesus died and was resurrected to accomplish.

As believers, we should begin to boldly stand up for the laid down truths established by God in His word. We should also be seen to, without compromise, walk-in these truths for the rest of the world to see and acknowledge.

Our attitude and lifestyle must be able to overpower and influence our environment with the resurrection Power of Jesus just by the reason of the fact that we have been privileged to be in God’s presence, spend quality time, sit with our Master Jesus, and humbly allowing the Holy Spirit teach us on how to represent Heaven in every situation.

We must be consciously aware knowing that we represent Heaven wherever we go and in whatever we do. By doing this we are proclaiming that Jesus is not the fairy tale the world tries to project, but that He is the concrete reality of the truth and Power of Almighty God. Thereby, saying to the world and to every generation represented in it, especially the younger generation that Jesus our King has Risen and is Alive forevermore!

When we, the called-out ones in Christ Jesus begin to take it upon ourselves to stand up for the truth of God’s Word, and consciously apply this truth in righteousness, walking in the demonstration of God’s Grace and Power the world will begin to listen and pay more attention to the truth we bring. Most importantly, the world will be touched and affected by the Power of God’s truth.

Being God’s truth-bearers and partners with the Holy Spirit to shed the light of this truth to the world is a responsibility we must take very seriously, for this is the only way the world will come to know and understand the Power of God’s resurrection in Christ Jesus, and that He has Risen Forever!

Dear Lord JESUS, thank You for demonstrating Your truth to me. You said that you would resurrect from the dead and you did. You also said that You have risen forever, and You have also proven this fact to me because I see you working in my life every day. Please help me to stand up for the truth you died and paid such a great price to give me. Let me also bring this truth to the people around me, so that they will also come to know the truth of the Power of Your resurrection. In Your Mighty Name, I pray. AMEN.
